Reports to: HSE Manager 

Location: Warri

Purpose Lead site HSE, ensuring risk control, emergency readiness, and compliance across drilling/workover/completions.

Responsibilities

•Own PTW system, JSAs, and site inductions; verify competence (IWCF/IADC, BOSIET, H2S).

•Run daily HSE meetings, drills (well control, man-overboard, fire, spill), and SIMOPS interfaces.

•Inspect DROPS, lifting gear, housekeeping, chemical handling, and confined spaces; track actions to closeout.

•Incident management: ICAM investigations, reporting, lessons learned; maintain medevac plans and clinics.

•Environmental: waste hierarchy, spill prevention/response, effluent control; ensure statutory registers are current.

KPIs

•TRIR/LTI = 0; 100% drill compliance; audit action closeout on time; environmental compliance with zero spills.

Qualifications

•NEBOSH/ISPON (or equivalent), 8+ yrs rig HSE; strong PTW/SIMOPS experience; BOSIET/HUET, H2S.
