The project was for the construction of a modern Field Logistics Base for Shell and included several living accommodation buildings among its facilities. We deployed an ingenious engineering design for the construction of these structures in the sand-filled Niger Delta swamp. The workforce deployment was 100% local population and the project contributed immensely to the socio-economic empowerment of the local community.
Due to the project activity and development, traders and settlers migrated from the distant fishing communities to Nembe Creek for greener pastures.
The FLB operations and project execution created a window for population growth in and around Nembe creek community.
