Delivering exceptional value: Introducing the new Nestoil brand

From the humble beginnings in a small one-room office in Idumagbo, Lagos Island, a little over 28 years ago, the Nestoil Group officially opened for business. Interestingly, it wouldn’t be for another 5 years before the brand would prove that it is not only ready for business, but that it could cement its place in history as an indigenous Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) Company, and significant contributor in Nigeria’s Oil & Gas sector.

Incorporated in 1991 and armed with the desire to play on the same pedestal as some of the biggest integrated energy firms on the continent, Nestoil evolved from an oil trading business with operations domiciled in an obscure location in Nigeria into one of the biggest Oil Servicing companies in sub-Saharan Africa with several business units and subsidiaries to boot.

Today the Group services, and has been involved in, multi-dollar projects such as Nigeria’s Second Niger Bridge, OML 45 Project, the Shell Kolo-Creek-Rumuekpe Trunkline Replacement Project, the Shell Nembe Field Logistics Base Project, and many more.

In its bid to re-engineer and better reposition Nestoil as a global brand structured around local content, we have refreshed our identity, remaining committed to establishing and following the highest standards of the global energy industry.

To humanize this refresh and as proof that ambition should be huge, the old Nestoil identity was remodelled and reintroduced with more vibrant and engaging hues. The oil drop element was maintained to show the company’s active commitment to the advancement of the Nigerian oil and gas sector and by extension, the continent.

This repositioning will serve to encourage young entrepreneurs in the energy sector while furthering the business’ motive as an indigenous brand making a true difference. The Nestoil brand is now reborn and better equipped to take the industry and keep delivering exceptional value.

Today, the Nestoil Group sits atop the formidable Nestoil Tower, known to be the first development in West Africa to attain Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certifications, signifying an excellence in construction and energy conservation functionality; and the company boasts four other subsidiaries including B&Q Dredging, Hammakopp Consortium, Energy Works Technology (EWT) and IMPAC Engineering.
