Chairman/CEO
Dr. Ernest Azudialu-Obiejesi has superintended the steady growth of Nestoil into the foremost indigenous EPCC Company in West Africa over the last 30 years.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Benin. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Administration by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2009. In 2018 he received another Honorary Doctorate in Science and Engineering from the Chukwuemeka Odumegu-Ojukwu University, Anambra State.
An Honorary Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, Dr. Azudialu-Obiejesi brings over 35 years of industry and business acumen to bear on the leadership, vision and guidance that has built the Nestoil Group to its present industry leadership status.
Group Executive Director
She has 30 years of local and international experience in legal matters as well as Business Planning and Development.
Mrs. Nnenna Obiejesi serves as a Group Executive Director in Nestoil, Nigeria’s largest indigenous Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) Company in the Oil and Gas sector. Trained in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and The London School of Economics Mrs. Obiejesi holds a Master’s Degree (LLM) in International Business Law.
After her call to the Nigerian bar, she worked with Messrs Chike Chigbue & Co. [SAN] and Ike Obiora & Co [Legal Practitioners] where she practiced forensic advocacy under experienced and versatile Principals. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of The United Kingdom, and a Member of The Nigerian Bar Association.
Executive Director of Nestoil
He joined the Group in February 2011 from General Electric Aviation, in Cincinnati Ohio, USA, and brings years of seasoned engineering, manufacturing, program management, and managerial experience.
Dr. Umeh holds several Engineering degrees, including a BEng in Electronics Engineering from the University of Nigeria, a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida, and an MSc and Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York. Dr. Umeh is a philanthropist and volunteers his spare time to mentor students and young professionals.
Associate Director and Chief of Staff
During a period of over 15 years, he managed and coordinated the role of a legal adviser with that of Managing the Board meetings of all the companies within the Group as Company Secretary. He also superintended the then growing relationship with numerous financial institutions and handled the Groups Loan portfolio.
He has served in various capacities within the Group including managing its huge supply chain, shipment, procurement, and logistics team.
Managing Director EWT
Tunji is a Business leader with a prolific wealth of experience in Finance, Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Accounting and Tax Management, and over 27 years’ of post-qualification experience as a Banking Professional, Chartered Accountant, and a Chartered Tax expert.
Tunji Olanipekun has a First Class Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Lagos and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Governance from Leeds Metropolitan University (UK) in 2009, and a Ph. D in Business Administration (International Business) from Babcock University in 2014. Tunji began his career in 1991 at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Lagos (one of the top 5 world-class Audit, Assurance, Consulting and Tax Services firm, and rose quickly through the ranks to become the Manager – Financial Services Industry Practice (FSIP).
Tunji is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA); Fellow, Association of Financial Planners, United Kingdom ; Fellow, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria; Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACIT); Certified Financial Consultant, Institute of Financial Consultants, Canada; Associate, Institute of Financial Consultants, Canada; Associate, Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM); Member, Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) USA; Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.
Associate Director, Corporate Development and Services.
Prior to joining Nestoil, Lynda worked with KPMG (formerly Andersen) as a Management Consultant. At KPMG she provided advisory services to clients in the Telecommunications, Financial Services, Consumer Markets and Oil & Gas Industries.
Lynda later joined MainOne Cable Company where she was responsible for Corporate Development and the internal operations of the company at all its locations. Lynda was a pivotal member of the team providing the strategic support that grew MainOne from a start-up to a household name within the IT space in Nigeria. She is a strong team player and is known for leading Change Management initiatives in organisations.
Lynda Madu’s experience spans Business Strategy Development and Implementation; Organizational Design; Business Process Design and Improvement as well as Human Resource Transformation.
Lynda holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. She has a Global Executive MBA from IE Business School, Spain. Lynda is also a Project Management Professional (PMP), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR).
Group Finance Director.
Collin Butt started out with a career Avionics and Aviation Engineering with British Aerospace in the United Kingdom. A chance encounter persuaded Collin to change his career to Accounting, which he studied both at the London City University and Central London University qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).
After a sterling career in Accounting in the UK, Collin moved overseas with roles in Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Tanzania and Nigeria where he was a Senior Manager in Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) covering varying consulting projects within the O&G sector. He later joined Oando during the early restructuring of Unipetrol and the acquisition of Agip. After brief spells with Oceanic Bank and Aero Contractors, Collin was appointed Finance Director for DHL West Africa.
Before Joining Nestoil as Group Finance Director, Collin ran a successful financial consultancy business. He is married with children and loves reading and travelling.
